Georgia Spring Nationals: TH Motorsports Preview

TH Motorsports will be back in competition this weekend at the Georgia Spring Nationals. Racing for the 3rd time this season, the team expects large results after a disappointing result in the Alabama 200.
Headed into the March 25th-26th weekend, this will be TH's 2nd trip to the Watermelon Capital of the 2022 season. Back in January, Tanner Carter drove the #15 North Creek Construction Chevy to a top 10 finish after starting the main event from 18th. Crisp Motorsports Park is also where Tanner claimed his best finish in the TH Motorsports Pro Late Model. Tanner and Kyle Hood put together a plan for this weekend to stay focused and committed to success.

Tanner Carter
Qualifying hasn't been the Monroe, Georgia driver's strong suit the first few races of the year with an 18th at SpeedFest and outside a lock-in position at the Alabama 200. With a more attention placed on qualifying speed, Tanner is confident that he can maintain the newfound speed during race conditions as well.
After the first 50 laps, I expect to be running around the top 5.
The Pro Late Model portion of the Georgia Spring Nationals is a seemingly short race, going for only 75 laps around the speedway. Therefore, the team has accounted for the sprint-style race and knows it's going to be nearly all-go the whole time. Tanner is used to 75-lap events, though. The Southeast Super Trucks only ran 75 when Tanner raced those from 2019-2021, so he knows the pace needed to be strong in the last 3rd of the event.
